A design was needed to expand and find some more breathing room for a growing family . Building upwards was the only option, which resulted in this lightweight upper extension. This included the addition of two extra bedrooms, one bathroom, one ensuite and one rumpus room

With construction to start in the middle of winter, the steel beams and sub-floor were built inside the existing roof before any major demolition. This allowed the job to continue through the rainy season with out any weather related problems.
